It's raining, it's pouring, Galloway is snoring
Galloway is not snoring.
However, it is raining.
A lot.
It always seems to happen this time of year. Summer cascades into Autumn with the sound of the pitter-patter of rain and the nights suddenly draw in.
This evening is the first time, I have felt a chill in a long time.
As I curse the weather, its chill and rain, the positives of an autumn in Galloway come flooding back to me.
Crisp leaves in Dock Park, the patter of rain on the window as you read, the light in the late afternoons.
Galloway certainly is not somewhere to snore during the Autumn.
