Life - Grandparents
I miss my grandparents.
I really do.
As you get older, you realise that they had so much wisdom and that you cannot tap it once they are gone.
I would give up so much to have one last hour with each of them.
To ask about their world when they were young, their life, the challenges they faced, the struggles they endured and the joys they embraced.
Or just to talk about nothing in particular, but football, the weather or the cost of a pint.
It is one of life's greatest tragedies that we do not appreciate what grandparents mean when we are young.
And it is one of life's greatest beauties that they still love us all the same.
