The Cult of Santa Claus and Who Killed Father Christmas
Santa or as I knew him Father Christmas, is a crazy cult when you think about it.
We asked toddlers to 10/11 year olds to moderate their behaviour to appease diety who they never see, but who can see them.
And can judge their actions.
Who sneaks into the house.
Who rides on a magical ice chariot pulled by beasts of the forest.
He sounds like a nightmare or something from Warhammer.
It is almost unbelievable that more children do not freak out at the idea of Santa.
It might just be that Santa is the start of a new religion.
But a move important question for me is, 'when did Father Christmas die?'
