As someone who works regularly from a coffee shop, you need to be taking your preparation more seriously. It is time to create a 'coffee shop kit'.
What is a Coffee Shop Kit?
Your Coffee Shop Kit is a small number of items that you take with you, which help you work effectively whilst at the coffee shop.
What is in my Coffee Shop Kit?
When I am working from a coffee shop, I like to travel lightly. Travelling lightly is important for me as I generally walk or take public transport.
My Coffee Shop Kit includes:
A laptop (Currently using a Lenovo).
Headphones (normally my P9 Headphones).
Note pad (I love note pads).
Post-it notes (I am addicted).
Pens (Another addiction).
And a Rucksack to carry it all in.
My better half says that I have a problem with purchasing of stationery, and if I am honest, they are correct.

Why have a small Coffee Shop Kit?
With this small 'kit', I am able to quickly pack my laptop and head straight off to the cafe shop at the drop of a hat.
This matters, we've all seen people arrive at a café, spend 20 minutes unpacking bags full of random stuff, work for half an hour, and then pack up and leave.
So, what would you include?
What you include will be up to you, however, I would always suggest that you always have packed a small number of items that you will always need with you, in an easy-to-carry bag.
You want to ensure that it is a small selection of items that do not need to leave the bag during times when you are not working in a coffee shop.
